What documents should I bring to my tax appointment?

Every situation is different, but in general we recommend bringing:

  • Last year’s tax return
  • W–2s and any 1099 forms
  • Business income and expense records (if self-employed)
  • Rental property income and expenses
  • Retirement and investment account statements
  • Childcare, education, and major medical expense details
  • Any IRS or state tax notices you’ve received

If you’re unsure, just book your appointment and we’ll let you know what’s most important for your situation.

How do I upload my documents securely?

We use a secure online portal where you can upload, download, and e-sign documents. You can access it at:

EPIC TAXCARE Secure Client Portal

If you need help logging in or resetting your portal access, contact us at tariq@epictaxcare.com.

How much do your services cost?

Pricing depends on the type and complexity of your return or engagement. We provide clear, upfront pricing before any work is done. You can view our sample starting prices on our Pricing page or contact us for a custom quote.

Do you work with both individuals and businesses?

Yes. We prepare returns and provide support for:

  • Individuals and families (Form 1040)
  • Self-employed and 1099 contractors (Schedule C)
  • Partnerships and multi-member LLCs (Form 1065)
  • S-corporations and corporations (Forms 1120S and 1120)
  • Trusts and estates (Form 1041)
Can you help if I’m behind on taxes or received an IRS notice?

Absolutely. We handle:

  • Unfiled prior-year tax returns
  • IRS and state tax notices and letters
  • Payment plans and response letters
  • Audit support and representation

The first step is to schedule a consultation so we can review your notices and outline a plan.

Do you also handle bookkeeping and payroll?

Yes. EPIC TAXCARE provides monthly bookkeeping, payroll setup and processing, and sales tax filings for small businesses. Many clients bundle these services with tax preparation and planning for a more complete solution.

How long does it take to prepare my tax return?

Turnaround time depends on the time of year and the complexity of your return. During peak tax season, returns are typically completed within a few days to two weeks once we have all of your documents. If you have a deadline, please let us know when you schedule.
